i’m not really sure that a description would do this place justice because it is so weird, odd, strange and wonderful all at the same time. All ages will enjoy this place 10 minutes outside of Eureka…Full review by sean r

This was a very interesting find, and I love how the story was told by the granddaughter which shows this is a family heirloom gem nestled in a beautiful part of the mountains. Don't depend on cell …Full review by jennifera399

Would touring this house be good for elderly people with limited mobility? Also, are they open during the week days in October?

Yes and no. She has two dogs of her own. They come by and check you out. I would guess that pets on a leash would be okay. Tracking mud inside the house might be an issue.
I am planning a trip to Eureka Springs in February and was wondering if the castle is open year round or a few months out of the year. Also what other sites would you recommend me to see over the long weekend I am gong to be there? Thank you for your awesome review on TripAdvisor.

February might be a tough time to see a lot of the cool things in Eureka Springs since a lot of the things I would recommend are outdoorsy. A lot of the things I would recommend are outside. Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge was on the top of my list. Loved seeing all of the animals up close and and learning about how they were rescued. Bring you camera. Thorncrown Chapel and St. Elizabethss are cool to see from the outside due to their interesting architecture. Crescent hotel is cool for that too and if you are into ghosts you may want to try the tour. One thing we really loved was the eureka Springs Railway. We had lunch on the train and enjoyed the fall colors as we moved along. Food served was super tasty too. They have a basic car ride too and the train stops for a moment to let you smash coins on the tracks. If you like wine Keels Creek winery is a nice place to see some art and taste some wine inside. We also tried out a couple of the caves. They were ok. Liked the nostalgia of Onyx cave. Shopping downtown was fun too.
