Miniseries The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox dramatises the famous miscarriage of justice, which saw her convicted – then acquitted – of the murder of fellow student Meredith Kercher.

Amanda Knox and Monica Lewinsky, both women involved in massive public scandals, worked together on a new project about the former's life.

Knox has reclaimed her story in all sorts of ways, including by serving as an executive producer on a new Hulu dramatization titled “The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox.” The series, which premiered on Wednesday, August 20, stars Grace Van Patten in the titular role. Knox cowrote the final episode and had a hand in the casting process.

At a time when people are revisiting past treatment of women in pop culture, two outspoken personalities have joined forces for a new project.
