The bishop will be handing leadership of the church over to his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband, Toure Roberts.

T.D. Jakes said he plans to appoint his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband, Touré Roberts, as senior pastors of the church.

Jakes’ announcement comes nearly six months after a major health incident that he later described as a “massive heart attack.”
