The 2025 NFL schedule drops on Wednesday evening, with the league announcing its full 272-game slate for the upcoming season. And the calendar is chock-full of anticipated matchups, including the Dallas Cowboys playing host to the Kansas City Chiefs in a Thanksgiving special on CBS and Paramount+.

The Super Bowl champs, as is the league’s recent custom, open at home in a big Thursday night game. The Kansas City Chiefs, three-time Super Bowl winners behind Patrick Mahomes, play a huge Thanksgiving afternoon game.

Ahead of the NFL's full 2025 schedule release Wednesday night, Netflix announced its Christmas Day slate of games.

The Dallas Cowboys will face off against the Washington Commanders for their first Christmas Day game in 15 years.

To reveal their 2025 slate, the Dallas Cowboys relied on subtle hints from a stream led by some of their biggest stars. Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb, Osa Odighizuwa and Tyler Smith spent much of the day together, starting a YouTube stream at 1 p.m.

The Philadelphia Eagles will open the 2025 NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4 in the NFL Kickoff Game.
