Kelly Clarkson shares new single 'Where Have You Been' inspired by Martin Short and Meryl Streep's on-screen romance in 'Only Murders in the Building'

Amidst all the gruesome killings on Only Murders in the Building, something else about the show stuck out to Kelly Clarkson: the onscreen romance between Meryl Streep and Martin Short’s characters, about which the musician wrote a new song called “Where Have You Been.”

Clarkson unveiled her new song, “Where Have You Been,” on May 1. Before she premiered it on her SiriusXM channel, The Kelly Clarkson Connection, the Grammy winner explained the track was actually inspired by Hulu’s hit show “Only Murders in the Building.”
