Israel’s security cabinet has approved a plan from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to occupy Gaza City, the Prime Minister’s Office said Friday.
Israelis took to the streets on Sunday to protest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to conquer the rest of the Gaza Strip rather than attempt to negotiate an end to the war under which Hamas would free its last hostages.
The rally, which drew about 250 people, called for the release of the hostages held by Hamas, the end of the war and more aid to Gaza.
