A man was taken into custody Wednesday after using a baseball bat to vandalize cars in North Hollywood, Los Angeles police said. Police received several 911 calls at about 9 a.m. Wednesday about a man hitting cars with a bat.
Jasveen Sangha, 42, agreed to plead guilty to one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of distribution of ketamine, and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury.
LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said as of now, there is no indication this was a hate crime, but said it appears the attack was motivated by a dispute over property belonging to the victim.
