In his playoff-clinching victory at Richmond Raceway, Austin Dillon shared some NASCAR history on the venerable short track with the most famous driver of the No. 3 Chevrolet.

Richmond becomes the second track with multiple wins for Dillon, who also has two victories at Daytona International Speedway. Aside from winning the 2018 Daytona 500 season opener, five of his six Cup wins have come after entering a race below the playoff cutline.
The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Airport Authority meets for the first time Monday, Aug. 18. The meeting is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Richmond Hill City Hall. According to the agenda, the board members will be sworn in, nominate officers, go through a timeline of events and take comments from the public.

With Cup playoffs at stake, controversial limits of rough driving could be tested again at Richmond
NASCAR playoff desperation reached a controversial peak at Richmond Raceway last year. To make the 16-driver field that competes for the Cup championship, Austin Dillon won by wrecking Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin in the final two corners.
Elevation is led by Lorenzo Cheatham and Javontae Jones. Jones also owns the nearby Eden Restaurant & Bar and previously owned The Riviere in the Arts District and Fan club Aura Bar & Grill. The venture is Cheatham’s first as a restaurant owner. Click here to continue reading on Richmond BizSense.
