North Texas will start the week with a threat of hail, tornadoes and severe thunderstorms. A line of thunderstorms will approach from the west after midnight, reaching the Interstate 35 corridor around sunrise on Tuesday, March 4, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth.

While no severe weather is expected Sunday, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are possible across the region in the afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service. In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the weather service said there’s a medium chance to see them before midnight as well as wind gusts as high as 30 mph.

Strong to severe storms will be possible across all of Alabama from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Damaging winds, heavy rain and tornadoes will all be possible with the strongest storms.
