The weekend is upon us, as the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets both wrapped up their final practices of the week. We have been monitoring the health of both teams, and we now have game designations so we know who we might see out there on Sunday,

The Atlanta Falcons defeated the New Orleans Saints, 24-10, in Week 12 to improve to 4-7 on the season. Sunday's win ended a five-game losing streak for Atlanta, while New Orleans fell to 2-9. Kirk Cousins got the start for the Falcons threw for 199 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

The Falcons entered last week with a world of pressure on their shoulders. They had lost five straight games as their season slipped from their grasp. Now at 4-7, they no longer control their own playoff fate, but they have no margin for error over their final six games.

The Jets are on a two-game losing streak, falling to the Baltimore Ravens, 23-10, last week and the New England Patriots, 27-14, in Week 10. The Jets' two wins this season are against the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, wins that came back-to-back in Week 8 and after their bye in Week 10.
