The American Kennel Club shared that three breeds have been added to their official registry: the Basset Fauve de Bretagne, the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka and the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier.

Basset Hounds are effortlessly adorable. They're super laid-back and sweet-tempered, big floppy ears and adorable (if melancholy-looking) eyes, and beautiful short coats in all varieties of colors.

While these breeds are not new, they have just been recognized by the American Kennel Club as official breeds.
