The Senate will return to Capitol Hill today as the shutdown hits the two-week mark with no indication there has been any progress made toward ending the stalemate.
Markets are widely expected to rally on Monday after the vote -- Milei had been forecast to get about 30% of the seats. While local trading on the peso doesn’t start until around 10 a.m. in Buenos Aires or so, early indications in local crypto platforms signaled it would climb from its current record low levels.
