Bitcoin was edging higher on Wednesday, but other cryptocurrencies were having a tougher time of it ahead of a fresh batch of inflation data that could determine if the Federal Reserve will be able to cut interest rates in 2025.

Bitcoin price stood at $96,991.94, registering a 24-hour gain of 0.14 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchanges, BTC price stood at Rs 85.09 lakh. ETH price stood at $2,634 marking a 24-hour loss of 0.86 percent at the time of writing. Ethereum price in India stood at Rs 2.31 lakh.
