Lutron expands its Caséta Smart Lighting system with a motion sensor and a range-extending signal repeater The new gadgets announced at CES also work with Lutron’s Serena smart shades.

The sensor can control any number of smart switches, fan controls, and Serena smart shades. The Caséta Smart Motion Sensor will be available on Amazon at the beginning of February for $49.95.

Lutron is adding two new accessories to its Caseta line of HomeKit-enabled light bulbs and switches, introducing the Caseta Smart Motion Sensor and the Caseta Repeater.

The new Caséta Smart Motion Sensor links not only with lighting but Lutron's dimmers, fan controls, and Serena smart shades, too. It's a standalone sensor, with a 180-degree field of view.
