Endotracheal intubation of newborns is a challenging skill to learn. Traditionally clinicians have viewed the larynx directly through the mouth (direct laryngoscopy) with a standard laryngoscope (SL).
Aims: To evaluate immediate postnatal care of infants with congenital heart disease including postnatal care and transfer to the cardiac unit, and identify areas of weakness in service provision.
