City leaders on Monday revealed updates on Downtown Jacksonville’s transformation, including on Riverfront Plaza and plans for a more walkable community.

After years of discussions, planning, and finding funding, several projects are finally underway in downtown Jacksonville.

Just this month, the City of Jacksonville released renderings for Metropolitan Park, which include a braided riverwalk running throughout the park, a water play area and a performance space.
