A lucky lottery player in Queens won $1 million in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing after purchasing a second-prize ticket at a pharmacy. The winning ticket was sold at Horizon Pharmacy in Elmhurst. The ticket matched all five white balls but missed the red Powerball in the drawing.
Thomas Rey Tse of Valley Stream on Long Island received a lump sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings for matching five of the six numbers drawn. The winning numbers were 03, 18, 36, 41, 54, with Powerball 07. The winning ticket was purchased at Shell Gas located at 100 W. Merrick Road in Valley Stream.
