Texas has sued Roblox for allegedly enabling pedophiles to groom and expose children to sexually explicit content, turning the wildly popular online video game into "a digital playground for predators.

A father's lawsuit against the online gaming platform Roblox will remain in the public eye after a judge denied the company's bid for private arbitration.

Earlier this year, Grow a Garden --a game created by an unknown teenage Roblox user-- blew up in popularity and became one of the biggest titles of 2025 with concurrent player counts that rivaled and even exceeded Fortnite. Now, Grow a Garden is growing in Hollywood as well thanks to a new movie based on the game.

However, the Grow a Garden movie is in the right hands with Story Kitchen. The studio is in the process of bringing many games to the screen, such as Life Is Strange, Split Fiction, and It Takes Two. The studio's Tomb Raider series, starring Sophie Turner as Lara Croft, is due to begin production in January 2026.
