After the death of One Direction star Liam Payne, his family is speaking out against the "constant" media scrutiny.

Payne was remembered at the music awards ceremony with a moving photograph and video montage of him as a child with his family, through his teenage years and onto his success with One Direction after the five members were put together on the UK reality TV show The X Factor in 2011.

Liam Payne's family broke their silence after manslaughter charges were dropped against three men in connection with his death in a statement shared with the 'BBC' on Sunday, March 2. The One Direction alum died in October 2024 at the age of 31.
