Fans were encouraged to fill out their own “I Fight For” card to show support for loved ones battling cancer. “Our son, Eric Simon has lymphoma cancer, and he’s only in his 40s so it’s tough, but he’s doing great,” Dan Simon, a Blues fan, said.
The 58-year-old was diagnosed with leukemia in 2023, and while still undergoing chemotherapy treatment his cancer is currently in remission.
