WWE's official X account posted photos of a bloodied Cody Rhodes following his attack at the hands of Randy Orton on Friday night.

Paul Heyman won’t be on Raw anytime soon. During Monday’s show, Michael Cole explained that Heyman suffered a cervical spine contusion, facial lacerations, and a deviated septum following Rollins’ attack last week and as a result was out indefinitely due to his injuries.

Orton unleashed a brutal attack on Rhodes, slamming him into the table, hitting him with the steel steps, and placing his head between the steps before slamming a chair onto his head. During his tirade, Orton shoved Nick Aldis to the ground, and Jelly Roll, too (who appeared way too much throughout the show).

Cody Rhodes knows perfectly well that WrestleMania is the most important event of the entire season. 'The American Nightmare' – who is the iconic face of WWE right now – wanted to participate in the main event of the 'Showcase of the Immortals' once again and was willing to do anything to achieve this goal.
