According to the American Automobile Association, it's anticipated that more people will be traveling around the United States by car over the Independence Day holiday than ever before.

According to AAA 61.6 million Americans will have traveled domestically by car, and that’s up 2.2 percent from last year’s Fourth of july weekend, setting a record for highest volume. And by plane 5.84 million are expected to board and that’s a 1.4 percent increase.

Nearly 6 million people will be flying to their July 4th travel destinations, according to AAA, the highest on record.
