Call of Duty’s long-standing legacy of annual releases is all set to continue with the upcoming Black Ops 7. Developed by Treyarch, the title serves as a follow-up to Black Ops

The PDW-57 was one of the best SMGs in Black Ops 2. It has a large magazine, low recoil, and a rapid fire rate, making it an extremely reliable weapon for those close-quarters players. The gun will return in Black Ops 7 under a new name, but looks to resemble the original gun very closely.

Hardcore Gamer sat down with Design Director Matt Schrantz and Senior Director of Production Yale Miller to discuss Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

However, with Call of Duty’s post-launch skins adding Nicki Minaj, Homelander, Beevis and Butthead and even American Dad, the King of FPS multiplayer has thoroughly abandoned its military identity for the sake of micro-transaction mullah. But will this ever change?
