The Jets acquired Harrison Phillips from the Vikings, sources told ESPN, their second trade of the day for a defensive tackle after they added Jowon Briggs from the Browns.

New York Jets general manager Darren Mougey was incredibly busy on Wednesday. Mougey acquired defensive tackle Jowon Briggs from the Cleveland Browns in a trade. The Jets then also traded for Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Harrison Phillips.

The New York Jets held a practice on Sunday without media or assistant coaches present the day after suffering a 31-12 loss to the New York Giants in their second preseason game. The only people in attendance for the practice were players and first-year coach Aaron Glenn.

It would have been less obvious who the Jets plan to be on offense if Tanner Engstrand just shared snapshots from his playbook on the video board.
