Chelsea and Bayern Munich set for fresh Christopher Nkunku talks as stalemate risk grows - The Frenchman was left out of Chelsea’s squad to face Crystal Palace on Sunday
Chelsea have rejected a loan offer from Bayern Munich for Christopher Nkunku with Newcastle United re-entering the race, according to reports. The west London club are keen to offload the 27-year-old Frenchman permanently before the summer window closes on September 1.
Tchatchoua is, in effect, a replacement for the former club captain Nélson Semedo, who rejected a new contract at Wolves in favour of a move to Fenerbahce. Tchatchoua, who produced the top speed in the Italian top flight last season at 36.3km/h, has signed a five-year deal.
Christopher Nkunku's slated move to Bayern Munich is reportedly at risk of falling through as Chelsea want a permanent sale rather than a loan.
