The Salvation Army has activated its heat relief services across North Texas due to extreme temperatures. The organization is opening cooling and hydration stations in Dallas, Collin, Denton, Tarrant, and Ellis counties. These services are triggered when the forecast predicts temperatures of 100 degrees or higher for at least two consecutive days.
