Metchie caught five of eight targets for 45 yards while adding 23 yards on one kickoff return in Houston's 20-10 preseason loss to the Vikings in Week 1. Philadelphia officially announced the move on Monday, reuniting Metchie with DeVonta Smith and other former Alabama teammates.

Giles Jackson made a deep catch for a touchdown in 1-on-1s where the ball initially bounced off him and/or the defending AJ Woods but Jackson still managed to track it and catch it after going to the ground. That drew some excitement from the crowd at practice.
