Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Stefan Frei was driven off the field by ambulance and taken to a hospital to be evaluated for head and neck injuries at the end of a Major League Soccer match against the Columbus Crew on Sunday.

Paul Rothrock scored a goal for Seattle in the 43rd minute and the Sounders and the Columbus Crew played to a 1-1 tie

The final seconds of the Sounders’ match against Columbus on Sunday turned nightmarish as keeper Stefan Frei was taken off by ambulance after suffering a scary injury.
