NOTES: Gustav Nyquist had one shot and one hit in 16:57 of ice time in his Wild debut after the forward was acquired Saturday in a trade with the Nashville Predators for a second-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
Playing wing on the team’s top line with Marco Rossi and Matt Boldy, Nyquist logged 17 minutes with one shot on goal in his second debut in Minnesota. He played nine games with the Wild late in the 2022-23 season, six in a first-round playoff series loss to Dallas.
It was not a new issue for this Wild team, which jumped out to a stellar start to the season, and is still in a great position to make the playoffs for the first time under head coach John Hynes.
Clayton Keller had 5 points and has four goals and six assists in four games against the Wild since not making USA’s 4 Nations Face-Off roster (Wild president of hockey operations and general manager Bill Guerin was the GM).
