A federal judge in Boston will consider a request from 18 states to block President Donald Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship for the children of parents who are in the U.S. illegal

President Donald Trump is facing legal hurdles in his efforts to shrink the federal government. The latest coming from a federal judge who is pausing the implementation of the White House’s buyout offer to all federal workers until Monday after employee unions filed suit arguing it violates federal law.

The injunction issued Thursday by a judge in Seattle came a day after another injunction stemming from a lawsuit in Maryland.
