NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported on Tuesday that Ewers has been working with former Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy. Pelissero relayed that McCarthy has been impressed with the QB through hours of conversations in recent weeks.

You may recall that when Mike McCarthy first took over the Dallas Cowboys that his staff featured plenty of people who had been head coaches before. Mike Nolan had been the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers and McCarthy actually worked on his staff.

Mike McCarthy is no longer at the helm of the Dallas Cowboys' coaching staff, but he is keeping himself busy in helping Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers prepare for his session at the NFL Combine.
