Pope Leo XIV donned a White Sox hat at the Vatican this week. For the company that makes it, it was a dream come true.

The White Sox cap that the Pope was wearing was a part of their MVP collection. Just a week prior, His Holiness was also seen wearing a Villanova Wildcats hat that was gifted to him by his alma mater.

Popes also used to wear the papal tiara, or the triregnum. However, this hat was similarly outmoded by Pope Paul VI, who in November 1964 announced that he was donating his tiara to the poor.
