Russian Miss Universe 2017 contestant Alexandrova died at age 30 due to severe injuries sustained when an animal collided with her vehicle. Her husband, who was driving, survived the incident.

Kseniya Alexandrova, a Russian model and TV personality who competed in the 2017 Miss Universe competition, died on Aug. 12. She was 30.

Her grace, beauty, and spirit left an unforgettable mark on the Miss Universe family and beyond,” the organization said of Alexandrova.
