Manning to play two more years at Texas? Arch pushes back on Grandpa's claim

Texas QB Manning says NFL plans not taking shape yet despite grandpa's prediction of 2026 in Austin
There's so much speculation about Texas quarterback Arch Manning's future, in the media and even within his own family, that it can be hard for even him to keep up.
During an ad campaign with Sling TV, Manziel listed his top three quarterbacks going into this season. While he named Marcel Reed from his alma mater Texas A&M and LaNorris Sellers from South Carolina, he also mentioned Arch Manning.
Arch Manning reacted to comments made by his grandfather, Archie, that predicted he would stay with Texas football through 2026 and skip the next NFL draft.
But on Tuesday, Aug. 19, the Longhorns' first-year starter had to address his future plans after his grandfather, former Ole Miss and New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning, said last month that NFL teams shouldn't expect his grandson to be available next April.
