A man is dead and two women were wounded in a drive-by shooting during a post-funeral gathering Monday at a park on Detroit's east side, police said. Arnold Williams, the deputy police chief, said dispatchers received a call just before 8 p.m. reporting shots fired at a park in the area of Moffat Avenue and Seneca Street near Gratiot and Van Dyke.

The shooting happened around 7 p.m. on the 19000 block of Rowe Street on the city's east side. Laurie Carter with the Detroit Police Department said shots were fired into a home that had people inside and at a vehicle. No one was injured.
