Home Depot Inc. said that the raft of tariffs implemented by President Donald Trump will lead to some price increases on certain products, but that they won’t be wide-ranging. The company reported fiscal second-quarter results that missed expectations,

America’s largest home improvement retailer has limited what it has said about the impact of tariffs on its prices before now. But after reporting quarterly results Tuesday, CFO Richard McPhail said Home Depot would have to implement some price increases as a result of the Trump administration’s taxes on imports.

Home Depot warned that it may raise prices on select merchandise in order to offset the cost of the Trump administration’s tariffs on imports — marking a reversal from the retailer’s earlier stance against trade-related pricing adjustments.
