According to a recent report, the Dallas Mavericks never intended to sign Luka Doncic to a $345 million supermax contract extension because of Nico Harrison's major concern about the Slovenian star's health.

The Los Angeles Lakers have gotten a taste of Luka Doncic representing their franchise on the court. Doncic has played two games for the Lakers already, but he played under 25 minutes in both games as he was on a minutes restriction after recovering from a calf injury.

Luka Doncic is still easing his way into the Los Angeles Lakers (32-20) after being dealt from the Dallas Mavericks a few days before the NBA trade deadline. Not only is the star guard getting accustomed to a new team and city, he is still shaking off some injury rust.
