The Los Angeles Rams made three roster moves on Tuesday, one of which was putting Keir Thomas on injured reserve.

The Rams signed offensive lineman Mike McAllister to a one-year deal, the team announced Tuesday. The Rams also announced they waived wide receiver Mario Williams with an injury designation and placed outside linebacker Keir Thomas II on injured reserve.

“Hunter is a linear player and lacks the same appeal when playing with a loose lower half. He doesn’t string cuts together particularly well, and he’s mostly a tightly wound ball of muscle as opposed to a slippery, fluid runner through tight creases and spaces.”

Through two preseason games, though, the Rams' backups look great at keeping quarterback Stetson Bennett upright. L.A. hasn't played any starting offensive linemen and the Rams still rank No. 1 in Pro Football Focus' pass blocking grade with 81.7 this preseason. The Minnesota Vikings trail them at 76.0.

Los Angeles Rams rookie running back Jarquez Hunter hasn't earned too much screen time this offseason since he was drafted in the fourth round out of Auburn. Starter Kyren Williams has seen most of the first-team reps this summer and backup Blake Corum started the team's first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.
