Wolf Fire initially started 3:09 p.m. June 29 in Riverside County, California. Since its discovery five days ago, it has burned 2,387 acres. A fire crew of 482 succeeded in containing 75% of the fire as of Friday evening. However, the cause is still being investigated.

A quickly growing fire in Riverside County torched more than 500 acres of land and prompted evacuation orders on Monday, according to authorities. Dubbed the Juniper Fire, it was initially reported at 11:28 a.m. in unincorporated parts of Perris, near the area of Idaleona and Juniper roads, Cal Fire said .

Cooler temperatures and humidity are helping firefighters fight the fire, which nearly doubled in size since Monday afternoon.
