The Bengals and Commanders met in Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season on "Monday Night Football." The Bengals won big in their preseason rematch.

Both teams enter the matchup at 0-1 after losses in their preseason openers, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET at Northwest Stadium in Summerfield.

The Week 2 NFL preseason schedule closes out when the Cincinnati Bengals visit the Washington Commanders on Monday. Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Bengals, 34-27. On the other side, the Commanders were blown out 48-18 by the New England Patriots.

Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels did not attempt a pass against the Bengals, but did score on a 14-yard touchdown run.

The fourth-year running back will not play for the Commanders on Monday night against the Bengals, a person familiar with the situation said.
