The Vatican has released an update on the health of Pope Francis, who remains in hospital after being admitted last week.

Pope Francis, who has been hospitalized since last week, was found to have pneumonia following a CT scan on Tuesday, the Vatican said, with tests continuing to indicate “a complex picture” for one of the oldest popes in the church’s history.

Pope Francis has been in and out of the hospital several times over the past few years, previously undergoing abdominal surgery and receiving treatment for bronchitis, a hernia, and more.
