WestJet and Lufthansa Technik announce an engine maintenance deal for Boeing 737 LEAP-1B engines, adding a repair facility that will create jobs and boost Canada's aviation industry.

Lufthansa Technik will service CFM International's LEAP-1B engines on WestJet's Boeing (BA.N), opens new tab 737 fleet, the companies said, adding that operations are set to begin in 2027.
