Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects an all-new, more-affordable MacBook model powered by an iPhone chip to launch next year.

Later in 2026, Apple is said to launch M6 MacBook Pro variants. Interestingly, while a redesign is rumored, these models are still reportedly 14-inch and 16-inch models. However, word on the street is the Pro models will be thinner, along with boasting an OLED display.

The A18 Pro will sing in a tiny 12-inch laptop, and the system's incredibly small proportions will make it a hit with those who thought they might go for a lightweight iPad with a Magic Keyboard Folio, mainly because they thought it wouldn't weigh down their backpack.
