CTA reports minor derailment of Yellow Line train at Howard
The CTA said Monday night there was a minor derailment of a Yellow Line train at the Howard Station near Evanston. About 7:40 p.m., the CTA and the Chicago Fire Department escorted riders from two trains to nearby platforms, according to CTA spokeswoman Catherine Hosinski.
Despite a massive recent makeover, the Howard station — which connects the Red, Yellow and Purple Lines — is showing flaws, according to riders who wrote to “Going Public.” ...
