Jalon Walker was getting a ride to Charlotte, North Carolina, late Thursday night from his home in Salisbury, N.C. He was scheduled to fly to the Atlanta Falcons' facility the next morning on the team's private jet.

Georgia Bulldogs edge/linebacker Jalon Walker, who the Atlanta Falcons drafted in the first-round of the 2025 NFL draft, is considered one of the best draft prospects in the draft. He's earned praise for his versatility and his burst.

Walker is not the biggest edge rusher in the draft by any means at 6-foot-1 and 243 pounds. But, he is considered a hybrid player who can play ball. Walker received many accolades while playing for the Georgia Bulldogs, including winning the Butkus Award (nation's top linebacker).
