Jeremy Allen White got the message from the Boss loud and clear. Scott Cooper, director of the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic “Deliver Me from Nowhere,” was trying to convince White, star of “The Bear,” to play Springsteen in the film. White wasn't so sure.

The Bruce Springsteen biopic is coming out this fall. On Friday, Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios announced that Deliver Me from Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White as The Boss, will premiere in theaters on Oct.

Luckily, Austin Butler and Jeremy Allen White fall into that first camp, although they’ll be playing the second. The two stars will topline Henry Dunham’s Enemies, a new crime thriller from A24, Deadline reports.
