On Monday night, Connecticut's Fairfield squad kept its Little League World Series dream alive by defeating Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Connecticut's offense scored 10 runs in the sixth inning on Monday night to put the finishing touches on a 13-1 victory over South Dakota.

They might have been the underdog when they got to Williamsport; but after winning their first three games the way they did, the other teams still standing know that if they take the field against Fairfield, they’re going to have their hands full. The last Connecticut team to make it to the United States Championship was Westport in 2013.

Fairfield National is now just one win away from the U.S. Championship at the Little League World Series, riding a big sixth inning to a 13-1 win over South Dakota on Monday evening. The Connecticut representatives have now won three straight games and remain in the United States Winner's Bracket.
