BOSTON — Over the course of a long season, there are often multiple candidates for worst loss of the year. Only a few days ago, the Red Sox squandered a two-run lead with six outs to go. And the fact that they’ve been walked off 11 times on the road is a reminder that there’s plenty of competition for the title.
