Penn State football continued to add to its list of draft picks during the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay. The Nittany Lions will likely have two of their own hear their names called within the first 20 picks, while eight more players wait to see who their next team may be.

For the third time during Franklin’s time in State College, two Penn State players have gone in Round 1: Carter and Warren in 2025, offensive tackle Olu Fashanu (New York Jets) and edge rusher Chop Robinson (Miami) in 2024 and edge rushers Micah Parsons (Dallas) and Odafe Oweh (Baltimore) in 2021.

The Indianapolis Colts might have landed the steal of the first round in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday. Indianapolis selected Penn State tight end Tyler Warren with the No. 14 overall pick, which just so happened to come four picks after the Chicago Bears picked another tight end in Colston Loveland.
