Ryan Gosling journeys to space in the trailer for the sci-fi film "Project Hail Mary," which hits theaters in March.

Ryan Gosling took over Barbieland in Barbie and unearthed some illegal activity in The Fall Guy, but in Project Hail Mary, he's going a step farther by literally saving the world...at least, that's the goal.

The Amazon MGM film is based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Andy Weir. It follows middle school teacher Ryland Grace, played by Gosling, who finds himself on a spacecraft with no memory of his past or even how he arrived there.
